The steed's in the mail.

This is the bike I am waiting for. I went into a local bike shop looking to order a Bianchi Volpe but when I heard of their wait for back order it was to much time out of when I should be training. But for slightly cheaper I was able to get the 2011 Jamis Aurora.
As I have not ridden it yet I can not say much except that the rear derailleur is a step up from the Volpe being Shimano 105 instead of Shimano Tiagra. We ordered the bike a size smaller than I expected but the man at the LBS (local bike shop) explained. Because of how much taller the handlebars are for a more comfortable relaxed stance the larger bike would have stretched me out, so he predicted this bike to be the right fit... and far be it from me to second guess a man with so much experience. Needles to say if it fits right when it comes in then I can finally be a two wheeled man again. You will have to fight to keep me off that saddle. "Unboxing" pictures and video to come in time!
